The City Today
Foggy Morning
Right before it Poured
I have been a compulsive photographer lately. With spring about to rip I've been loving every wet thing I see. These composite shots were from today. They look kind of obvious but both images are composed of 2 different photographs each "stitched" together in photoshop to make the whole composition. The most alluring thing about photography is that photographs are such a good representation of what we see. But camera's aren't perfect. They capture what we see but not how we see.

working with a sewing machine
I've been using this great recycled paper and gluing some prints onto them and then working with a sewing machine to frame or draw into them. I love the way the prints look on recycled paper.

Goldie
"Goldie" is an tribute painting I made in honor of my old diesel 1983 Mercedes Benz 300td that died last summer. I bought her beaten up but still running for 1500 dollars off a guy in Brooklyn. We drove her up into the Catskills, all the way to Ohio and Pittsburgh and back, out to the tip of Long Island and to the Delaware River Gap. She about broke down on all those trips I seem to recall but we had fun times. So long Goldie. Here are a couple process shots of how this painting was made.
