These two paintings are on display at Catalyst Gallery in Beacon NY thru the second weekend in January. I'm happy to be a part of their group holiday show. Each painting started out as a 35mm photograph. I turned them into xerox transfers and I'm really happy with how they turned out. "Salvia" especially feels like a Warhol screenprint to me and I love the softness the green leaves in the background. My only complaint about "Rose" is that the background came out quite dark. However the details of water droplets on the rose petals are cool.
